1.1 The Purchaser may rescind their agreement to purchase goods from Laptops.mu within a period of three (3) hours from the time of purchase by notifying Laptops.mu by email at support@laptops.mu
1.2 In instances of order cancellation pursuant to clause 1.1, the Purchaser must provide the Order Confirmation Number during the communication for the initiation of the cancellation process. Laptops.mu shall endeavour to process the reversal of payment to the Purchaser’s bank card account.
1.3 In the event of order cancellation, should the original payment have been effected using a credit card or any other payment processor charging a commission, the refund will be processed after the deduction of the said fees. Conversely, for payments originally completed via bank transfer, a full refund will be processed with no associated fees.
1.4 In cases where the refund cannot be processed to international banks (those outside Mauritius), the amount equivalent to the refund shall be credited to the Purchaser’s account on the Laptops.mu website in the form of account credit points.
1.5 Notwithstanding the foregoing, a cancellation fee constituting 10% of the purchase amount may be levied at Laptops.mu’s discretion, depending on the brand and product ordered, to cover administrative costs.
1.6 Once goods have been sold, they are not subject to exchange or refund, save for specific circumstances as outlined in Section 2.
SECTION 2: REFUNDS & RETURNS
2.1 Returns may be entertained by Laptops.mu ONLY at the point of delivery, subject to the adherence to the following conditions:
The goods delivered fail to meet the Purchaser’s expectations.
The Purchaser observes that the goods are damaged at the time of delivery.
An immediate defect (out of box failure) is identified with the delivered product upon testing.
A discrepancy is noted between the ordered product and the delivered goods.
2.2 In the event of any of the conditions in clause 2.1 being met:
The Purchaser shall refuse delivery and return the product(s) to the Laptops.mu delivery personnel immediately.
The Purchaser acknowledges that a secondary delivery is contingent on the availability of stock. Where stock is available, the replacement product will be delivered to the Purchaser within a maximum period of five (5) Business Days.
Subsequent to the delivery, the Purchaser shall notify Laptops.mu as soon as reasonably possible after the discovery of any operational defect in the product by telephoning 52583646.
2.3 Requests for returns will be evaluated on the basis of the warranty conditions specific to the product in question, subject to the following:
The Purchaser must return the defective product to Laptops.mu’s designated returns collection office located at Nouvelle Usine, Floreal, Mauritius, accompanied by the valid Warranty Certificate.
The Purchaser undertakes not to modify or tamper with the product, nor to permit any third party to do so. Any evidence of tampering will constitute a material breach by the Purchaser, absolving Laptops.mu of any obligation to accept the return of the product.
The Purchaser must produce the Sales Invoice and/or Transaction Receipt, along with identification details (National ID or Passport) at the time of the return.
